Wood construction screw black TX drive

These screws are specially made for connecting wooden beams and load-bearing structures. The large TX drive ensures optimal power transmission from the (impact) screwdriver to the screw, making the screws easy to process. In many cases, the screws can be processed without pre-drilling, thanks to the special drilling point and cutting point.

The wood construction screw with black head is seen as a perfect alternative to the 'old-fashioned' wood threaded bolt. Not only are they many times stronger, these screws also have a higher elongation value. The wood construction screws have a large support surface and clamping range due to the counter head on the screws, which means they can be loaded more heavily and fewer mounting points are required for a sturdy construction. Screws from 80 mm are provided with partial thread, also known as a 'wokkel', which promotes the tightening effect in wood-to-wood connections. The screw hole is pre-drilled slightly wider by the 'wokkel', this makes the second part of wood better attracted and there is much less chance of the wood splitting.

The screws are made of hardened carbon steel and are super strong. Hydrogen embrittlement in the material is excluded in the production process by an additional after-annealing treatment.
